HI, I'M MARISSA

I first picked up a camera in 2014 as I began traveling and living abroad in Madrid, Spain. As my travels continued, so did my photography, and I found so much joy in being able to share those moments with all my loved ones back home!
After starting my own family & stepping away from my decade long career in corporate healthcare, I shifted my focus to raising my two littles and picking up photography full-time! I've learned all too well how quickly time flies, so my goal is to help others freeze time for whatever season of life they find themselves in to cherish and remember for a lifetime. What started as a hobby and a creative outlet, quickly turned into a passion and love for documenting couple's most happiest moments.
More about me

When I'm not playing the photographer role, I'm spending time with my husband Frank of 4 years (together for 13), raising our two littles - Laine & Anderson. A perfect weekend at home starts with a morning coffee on the deck, a family stroll through third street in Geneva, and a date night with a glass or two of red at Mio Modo. When I have a chance to get out by myself, you will most likely find me at UPS making returns from my guilty online shopping addiction, or trying to convince myself that the 7am pilates class I scheduled after those few glasses of red was a good idea.

trends fade quickly
but your images should
stand the test of time

I serve naturally heartfelt couples who relish in the fleeting seasons of their story and value the moments that deserve to be remembered.
my philosophies as a wedding photographer

No. 1 / Authenticity Over Perfection

I love a good editorial flare! But the most meaningful moments aren't posed—they’re real. I focus on capturing the quiet glances, the loud laughs, the unrepeatable in-betweens that make your day uniquely yours.

No. 2 / Photography is Collaboration

The best images happen when you trust me, and I understand you. It's a creative partnership—and it starts with conversation and connection."

No. 3 / Art That Ages Gracefully

Trends fade. I focus on timeless composition, rich tones, and honest emotion—so your images feel relevant not just next year, but in 40 years."

No. 4 / I'm Your Quiet Supporter

From straightening veils to calming nerves, I’m there for more than just the photos. Think of me as your extra pair of hands—and someone who’s genuinely rooting for you every step of the way."
